After a lot of thought and consideration, Sophia and I have decided to step back from writing for the Story Fortress. While our articles are still up and will remain viewable, we’re both going to be focusing our efforts on upcoming projects and books that will diminish the time we set aside for writing for the Story Fortress.
On a more personal note, thank you guys so much for coming along this journey with us. For those of you who have been around since the beginning — I see you, and I’m grateful for your commitment. For everyone else, no matter when you joined in, thank you for your support and encouragement! Your many emails, comments, and commitment to this blog have meant so much to me. You guys helped build this community from nothing, and for that I will always be grateful.

I have several upcoming projects I can’t wait to share with you, and while I plan to take a hiatus at least over the summer to consider next steps, I should have new ideas heading your way soon. I’m hoping my next projects will offer more opportunity for dialogue and community as we explore new aspects of storytelling together.
In the meantime, keep writing! I have one final article to post this Friday that I hope can challenge and inspire you to keep at it.
